Dryers
Refrigerated air dryers are used to eliminate water and deliver moisture-free air in compressed air systems.
KEY FEATURES
Refrigerated air dryers are used to eliminate water and deliver moisture-free air in compressed air systems. Compression causes air to heat up, to the point that the temperature difference between hot compressed air leaving the compressor and cool air outside results in vapor condensation. To prevent this from happening, warm air flowing from the compressor tank is cooled to the temperature below the dew point (+3°C approx.) before it passes through the filter.
The process takes place in refrigerated air dryers which cool the air down, eliminate water and remove it from the compressed air system.Refrigerated air dryers are recommended for installations operating in temperatures above 0°C.Proper air dryers are especially important in advanced modern systems. The delivery of moisture-free air not only significantly prolongs service life of most devices but very often is crucial for their proper functioning.Model | Efficiency | Max Pressure [bar] | Power [kW] | Voltage | Terminal [inch] | Dimensions [cm] | Weight [kg] |
